Privacy Policy

In short

When you request a repair or a call back, we use what you send to call you about that request and share it with one garage door company that serves your area. We don't sell your information, we don't use it for advertising and we keep it only as long as we need it.

Information you give us

• Your name and phone number, and an email address if you add one.
• The city or area where the door is.
• What the door is doing, the service you chose and any message you write.

Information collected automatically

Our hosting provider records standard technical data when pages are visited: the page, the time, the browser, the general location of the connection and the referring site. We also count clicks on call buttons and form submissions so we know which pages are useful. We don't use advertising trackers.

The site may store a small amount of information in your browser so the request form works correctly. It isn't used to follow you around the internet, and you can clear it in your browser settings at any time.

How we use it

To call you back, to arrange the visit, to pass your request to the company that will do the work and to check afterwards that the request was handled. We may also use anonymous totals, such as how many requests came from each city, to improve the site.

We don't send marketing messages, and we don't contact you about anything other than the request you made unless you ask us to.

Who we share it with

One independent garage door company that serves your area receives your name, phone number, city and description of the problem so it can contact you and do the work. We also use service providers that host the website, send form submissions by email and route our email; they process the data only to provide those services.

How long we keep it

Requests are kept for up to two years so we can follow up on a visit, handle a complaint or answer a question about a past job. After that they are deleted, unless the law requires us to keep something longer.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it. Write to the email address at the bottom of this page and we'll respond within a reasonable time.

Children

This site is meant for adults arranging home repairs. We don't knowingly collect information from children.

Changes and contact
